Just when everyone was starting to write them off, the New York Yankess have won 7 in a row and now are 6 games over 500. They are only 5 games out of first. What is the reason for this turn around? I feel that they have finally got there bats going, everyone is hitting the leather off the ball. Even thought they have lost two of there starting pitchers, but the others have carried the load. Plus, there bullpen has been pitching great. Plus, Joba Chamberlain is really working out well as a starter.
But, I am putting my money on the manager, Joe Girardi. Girardi has placed rules and has stuck by his decision. He is a class act. I was glad to see him get the gob and get the team turned around. I feel that after the all start break they are goign to be unbeatable.
